About Us
Field Systems Inc. was founded by its President, Joseph Ferrainola, in 1981. Joseph Ferrainola has accumulated over 28 years of knowledge as a top Administrator and Resource Manager at the Glen Mills Schools. Founded in 1826, the Glen Mills Schools is the oldest residential school for troubled young men in the country. Mr. Ferrainola obtained his Masters Degree in the Field of Human Services from the University of Lincoln.
Field Systems started as a small Consulting and Training Services company and grew into a renowned provider of expertise in Group Dynamics, Supervisory, and Normative Systems Training to over 150 educational, residential and corporate institutions worldwide.
Our staff has provided years of expertise training, quality services, consultations and follows up with many of our clients.
We have provided consulting and training services that have helped:
- Rescue a Wyoming-based residential program from the brink of losing its license with the Department of Welfare in response to a plea for help from the company president.
- Developed a relationship with Normative Services and Sequel Inc. that has resulted in safer programs where social and academic growth can ultimately take place, expansion of their residential poplulation, improvement of physical facilities and the opening of new schools.
- Sparked the dramatic turnaround of one of Penn Ventilator's sites from having the worst U.S. safety record to one of the highest safety ratings of all Penn Ventilator facilities after training their staff in Group Dynamics, Supervisory and Normative Systems.
- Opened the door to engagements with nationwide Job Corps sites after alleviating sever intercity gang problems plaqueing the New York City Job Corps sites by training their staff, making them some of the safest sites in the tri-state area.
- Brought in to remedy problems regarding staff, safety and living conditions in the Netherlands Antilles by supplying the knowledge and vision to enhance the overall program and eliminate campus lock-up systems.
- Foreged a strong reputation among corporations as well as states and international authorities for offering a unique and powerful approach to correcting weak or destructive norms within the workplace.
