Advanced Guided Group Interaction Training

Primary Objective - To provide GGI leaders and observers the tools necessary to conduct a positve GGI group.  This objective is accomplished by breaking GGI into four specific components and conducting role play situations relative to these four components.

First Component - How to read the 8 Process Points and delinquent diamond when leading or observing a GGI.  This is accomplished through review of basic Group Dynamics principles and several role play situations.

Second Component - The establishment of non-negotiables within a GGI group.  Participants identify appropriate and inappropriate non-negotiables and how to introduce them into a GGI group as norms rather than rules.  This is accomplished through group exercises and role play situations.

Third Component - What issues are acceptable for GGI groups to deal with.  This is critical to the training since the objective of GGI is to change behavior not personality.  This is accomplished through a general input, an individual quiz, a group exercise and several role play exercises.

Final Component - Peer group pressure and how to effectively utilize it when conducting a GGI group.  This is done through a general input and role play exercise.

Conclusion - Advanced Guided Group Interaction Training concludes with several role plays covering all four components simultaneously.  All participants are observed and given feedback relative to the science and art necessary to both lead and observe a GGI group.
